2016 Sixth Form application arrangements for pupils who are not already members of the School:

Students of Sixth Form age may make their own application for a place.   

External applicants to the Sixth Form are advised to complete the Sixth Form Application Form, which can be found in the ‘Pre-register your interest’ sub-heading of the Year 12 Entry section of this website. On the form applicants will be asked to state their A Level preferences which should clearly specify if they intend to study three or four A Levels. The School will advise applicants via email between the dates of 4th July 2016 and 18th July 2016 the arrangements for GSCE Results Day.

On GCSE results day, external applicants must confirm results following publication of GCSE grades if they intend to proceed with their application They will then receive either a firm offer of a place or be placed on a waiting list. 

On publication of GCSE results in August, places will be offered in accordance with the the school's ratified Admission Criteria. 

Unsuccessful applicants and their parents/carers have the right of appeal.

The School complies with all relevant legislation, including Sex Discrimination Act, Race Relations Acts, Human Rights Act, Disability Discrimination Acts, Equality Act and these arrangements have been consulted on and then determined in accordance with the statutory requirements and the mandatory provisions of the School Admissions Code.
