Meet the PTFA

The PTFA are an active group of parents from across every year group who are committed to bringing a real community spirit to the School.

Our primary aim is to raise funds for our School, the majority of which come from our Familiarisation Tests, however, we are also keen to support the School community through a variety of fun family events throughout the year, including:

• New Year 7 Induction BBQ
• Year 7/8 discos
• Quiz night
• Murder mystery evening

Over the years, our fundraising has allowed us to purchase sports, IT and science equipment, a minibus, resources for the library and many other items requested by the School. Since 2019 we have also donated over £300,000 to the School to help build a new drama studio, DT and music block and also new cricket nets (due to be completed in 2023).

If you would like to contact us or if you can spare some time to help, please send an email to info@wcgsptfa.org.  Many of our parents offer just a few hours of their time each year and this makes all the difference in our efforts to help the students.

We usually hold our PTFA meetings at the School on the first Tuesday of every month at 7:30pm.
