Wallington County Grammar School

Admissions

Thank you for your interest in Wallington County Grammar School, a selective school for boys in Year 7 to Year 13; girls are welcomed into the Sixth Form.  In an attempt to become more environmentally friendly, we do not print a prospectus but have ensured all of the information you require can be found on this website.  We would also encourage you to visit the school on our annual Open Evening to further enhance your knowledge. Please refer to the section entitled 'Open Evenings' for further information regarding our Transfer to Secondary School open evening held each July, and our Sixth Form open evening held each November.

If you are unable to attend an Open Evening, please be advised that we offer a Virtual Tour of our premises and facilities which can be accessed via the About Us section of this website.

Please ensure that you read the Schools Admissions Criteria and Arrangements documents relevant to the year of academic entry for your child. This document will give you guidance on how places are offered and the different admissions bands we use.

We routinely accept students into Year 7 and Year 12. We also maintain mid-term waiting list for years 7 to 11. Please refer to our Admissions Criteria for further information on mid-term applications and waiting lists.

If you have read all of the information supplied on this website and still have a question, please contact Mrs Waters, the Admissions Officer, by email: admissions@wcgs.org.uk who will endeavour to reply to any communication as soon as possible.

Familiarisation Tests (practice 11+ tests)

These are run by Wallington County Grammar School's PTFA - not directly by the School. If you have a query or wish to book a Familiarisation Test, please click on the tab entitled 'PTFA' from the home page of this website. Do not contact the Admissions Officer at the School.
